April 11th - 13th April : Skegness Rock ‘n’ Roll FestivalThis event will take place at the Richmond Holiday Centre. Please call 01754 762255 for more information. July 4th July - 6th July - Skegness - Meccano ExhibitionThis event will be held in the Grand Parade, Skegness. More information to follow. 11th - 13th July 2008 - Skegness Kite & XFestKite & XFest on the seafront. 26th July 2008 - Skegness Illuminations Grand Switch OnAnnual switch on of the Skegness illuminations at the Clock Tower. The grand switch on will take place at 9.30pm by singer Jane McDonald. Events begin at 7.30pm with a seafront carnvial procession featuring the Carnival Queen, Princess & Rosebud . Entertianment music will be played throughout the evening by a range of artists and proceedings will round off with a Fireworks Display. August 10th - 15th August 2008 - Carnival WeekThe annual carnival week. The Parade will start at the Playing Field, Wainfleet Road and finish at the North end of the Prom - more details to follow. September 7th - 12th September - EBF Bowls TournamentThe Foreshore Bowling Greens play host to the EBF Bowls Tournament. 26th - 28th September : Skegness Rock ‘n’ Roll FestivalThis event will take place at the Richmond Holiday Centre.
